I sought five quotes to demo and replace my north-facing driveway with a wire trace heated driveway. Legacy won based on the quality of the concrete and the strength of the electrician, Blake. The concrete from Legacy was bid at 5”; all the other quotes came in at 4”, which really means a 2×4 form, which ends up being 3.5” thick concrete at best. Legacy used 5.5” boards for the forms, so I probably got a bit more thickness than I paid for. They also included actual rebar to reinforce the concrete instead of just a wire mesh like several other quotes. Also, Legacy actually measured my driveway dimensions correctly for the quote, which I didn’t think would be a discriminator but the other quotes varied wildly from the actual dimensions. They also added a pipe to route a hose under the driveway (so I don’t have to have a hose on top of the driveway to water bushes on the other side) and a diversion pipe to divert drainage from a downspout. But the real value was the partnership with the electrician. It was clear Blake knew what he was doing from the start. He was the only electrician during the initial inspection to actually break out a screwdriver and take a few extra minutes to inspect the breaker box to verify the wiring would work with the heating system. Jacob and the rest of the concrete crew did fantastic work and cleaned up after themselves. I could not ask for a more professional and quality installation from start to finish.

Legacy Concrete was extremely responsive to what I wanted, and I was a very picky customer. They were professional and courteous and did an excellent job. I’m very proud of my new patio. The foreman was a member of the owner’s family and was on site for almost all of the job, doing most of the skilled work himself. It is clear that this company knows what they’re doing and cares about doing a good job, from the estimation through to the finishing, working with me on the design until it worked for what I wanted and fit the space well. They cleaned everything up and explained how to take care of my new patio.

Everything about this company is truly in the name, Legacy. The reason they have this name is b/c its a family ran business with multi-generational family members actually doing the work and has been this way since they started! I was referred by a friend, and they raved about them as well, but had I found them on my own my opinion wouldn’t have changed. Robert was very prompt with setting a consult, he was VERY professional, pricing was competitive and after the meeting I was so impressed that I even turned down a lesser offer b/c of how Robert walked me through the whole process and the transparency he showed with the fine details. The crew was well ran and communicated well before showing up everyday and cleaned up promptly when they were done. Roberts father even helped with leveling my covered patio before they poured the concrete, what a guy!! I can’t say enough good things about this company and they stand by their work by giving an unprecedented 2 year warranty (which NO ONE ELSE GAVE). I hope you at least give them a call for your project to see if they’re as good as a fit as they were for me, I will be for any future work on my property. Well done fellas!
